MS3 Networks awarded two best-in-class awards at prestigious industry event
September 29, 2023
Wholesale fibre network operator, MS3 Networks, has picked up two awards at this year’s Comms National Awards. At the event, MS3 was awarded Best altnet and Best wholesale service provider in recognition of the company’s commitment to bringing a fairer, better and more affordable choice of broadband provider to residents across Hull and East Riding.
Showcasing achievements across the ICT channel, the Comms National Awards has helped set industry standards for MSPs, resellers, partners, vendors, carriers and service providers for over two decades. Celebrating all areas of channel delivery, the event features a panel of industry experts with experience in recognising quality and excellence across a variety of fields.
Picking up gold in the Best altnet category, MS3 Networks was praised for its commitment to supporting the channel and helping a growing network of altnets thrive across the Northeast. The company’s launch of an industry-first price comparison website for its internet service provider (ISP) partners in April 2023, which allows end-users to compare the package, speed and price of ISPs in their area, demonstrates MS3’s commitment to the channel. In fact, several of its ISP partners are seeing a 50 per cent increase on their monthly orders as a direct result to the comparison tool.
MS3 also won gold for the Best wholesale service provider category, for companies sized up to £10 million. A particularly competitive category, MS3 came out ahead of six other fixed, mobile and cloud service providers thanks to its rapidly advancing build strategy. With a goal to cover the whole of Hull with its full fibre network in the next twelve months, and 535,000 premises across the North of England by 2025, MS3 is currently operating at a build rate of 3,000 premises a week.
“Winning not one, but two, Comms National awards marks an incredible milestone for the team,” said Guy Miller, CEO of MS3 Networks. “Our mission is to offer people choice in an area that’s long experienced a broadband monopoly. To achieve that, we rely on a strong network of partners and we’re as invested in their growth as we are our own. To have not only our own work recognised at the awards, but also the impact its having across the channel, is a proud moment.”
