Wholesale-only fibre network operator, MS3 Networks, has launched a new functionality that allows users to compare and purchase broadband packages from its internet service provider (ISP) partners. Available directly on the MS3 website, the new tool acts as a transparent comparison service to help users discover the best broadband deal for their needs.
As a wholesale-only fibre provider based in the Kingston-upon-Hull area, MS3 supplies internet connectivity to consumers through partnerships with multiple ISPs in the local area. With a goal of supporting the rollout of Fibre-to-the-Premise (FTTP) connectivity to over 500,000 homes and businesses across parts of Northern England by 2025, MS3 continues to build futureproofed, 10Gb-capable networks and connect thousands of properties to full fibre broadband.
To support wholesale partners in an industry-first, MS3’s new e-commerce platform will provide transparency and visibility for customers exploring their broadband options. With this update, customers will be able to compare broadband services from partnering ISPs directly through MS3’s website.
Current partners include Direct Save Telecom, Open Fibre, Fiber Zone, Hull Fibre, Octaplus, Link Broadband, Zone Broadband and Infinics. Users will be able to filter their search according to their connectivity requirements — determining, for instance, whether they need a home or business solution, their budget and desired broadband speed — and will be able to view the benefits and bonuses of packages from each ISP. Once a customer determines the best package for their needs, ordering can be completed directly on the MS3 website for a smooth, simple process.
“We’re hoping to solve a challenge that’s been affecting connectivity in the UK for years,” said Adam Kelly, marketing manager at MS3 Networks. “The broadband monopoly in our area has been prevalent for some time and, while greater choice in provider is arriving, many customers still feel without options. From our own market research conducted earlier in 2023, we found there’s still a consensus that people lack choice in broadband provider.
“Offering tools such as our new ecommerce function will help turn that tide. We want to make options as clear and easy-to-navigate as possible, while showcasing the range of ISPs available in the local area. It’s about more than just delivering an ultrafast internet connection, it’s about providing customers with a space to explore products, have a simple process of receiving recommendations and comparing prices and features. This way, we can closely work with partners and their customer base to provide them with the best full-service solutions via our website.”
